British character actor born in South Wales who graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1963. Anthony Hopkins was born on New Year's eve.

Anthony Hopkins divorced his third wife, Jennifer Lynton in 2002 and has one daughter, Abigail Hopkins. Anthony Hopkins has since married Stella Arroyave. Hopkins became a U.S. citizen on April 12th, 2000, but is allowed to retain his British knighthood and the title of Sir. He explains, "America has been very generous to me, magnanimous really. I thought it would be good to give something back. It was a decision of the heart."
