Leading actor (easily recognized by his bald head) who's background is unknown, although some believe he was a gypsy. Yul Brynner adopted America as his home after performing in a Paris circus as a acrobat. Real name was Youl Bryner.

During World War 2 Yul Brynner put his fluent French and Russian to work on the Voice of America. He did some television directing.
