Real Name: Dominie Felix Amici. American leading man, born in Wisconsin, with stage and radio expereince.

1943's HEAVEN CAN WAIT is considered by some to be his best acting performance.

Known to an earlier generation primarily for his role as telephone inventor "Alexander Graham Bell", he found a whole new audience and in the eighties in hits like: TRADING PLACES and COCOON.

In fact, he won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in 1985's COCOON.
